As tracking data is captured, records are automatically encrypted, synchronized and distributed across the entire network using secure connections. This allows the user to know where any piece of inventory is located at any given time, where it was previously, and how it is currently being used. Users can view tracking information either in grid-view or map-view. The powerful grid-view allows users to filter, sort, edit, and export data. Map-view allows users to locate equipment using a geographic map of the facility. The Plexus Vision asset management solution is a user-friendly application that allows the users to collect, distribute, and view tracking, item, and location records. Not all locations will use the same capture technology; a small clinic may use only pRFID, while its related hospital may use a combination of pRFID, RTLS, and barcode technologies.
The Plexus Vision application can be configured to share data across a community of users either by sharing information captured at a single workstation with another workstation or by accessing centralized data that is used by several workstations at the same time.
